SCIENTIFIC EVENTS

As you all know, the AD Pediatric Clinic of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, located at the “Agia Sofia” Children’s Hospital, is the oldest and largest University Pediatric Clinic in the country. The AD Pediatric Clinic, under the direction of the late Professor Nikolaos Matsaniotis, inaugurated in 1968 THE THERAPEUTIC INFORMATION, a scientific event that was established and loved by every Greek Pediatrician. THE THERAPEUTIC INFORMATION continued under the direction of the other directors of the Clinic and is now an institution. They take place every year on the weekend of Thomas, immediately after the festive days of Easter. Due to the multifaceted progress in Pediatrics, this scientific event has been enriched in recent years with a Scientific Symposium of special interest that takes place on Saturday morning and aims to inform Pediatricians in a special Cognitive Object of Pediatrics. This year the Symposium is dedicated to Pediatric Endocrinology, a field of pediatrics of particular interest to every pediatrician.

They take place every year on the weekend of Thomas, immediately after the festive days of Easter. Due to the multifaceted progress in Pediatrics, this scientific event has been enriched in recent years with a Scientific Symposium of special interest that takes place on Saturday morning and aims to inform Pediatricians in a special Cognitive Object of Pediatrics. This year the Symposium was scheduled to be dedicated to Pediatric Infections and the historic MAKKA Pediatric Infections Unit.
